This week’s Teacher Tip Tuesday shows how you can use the popular Elf on the Shelf as an engaging way to get students excited about content. My classroom elf, MATHew, brings math problems daily that the kids love to solve. This year I look forward to including more ELA content as well as a weekly STEM challenge. Follow my class Twitter account @Liftoff@Learn to see what our elf is up to this year or get ideas from last year. Also, here are some of the problems I have used in the past in my 5th-grade classroom.
