Missouri students sign letters of intent to become teachers

High school seniors from across Missouri signed letters of intent to become educators at the Future Teachers of America meeting hosted by the Missouri State Teachers Association in Columbia, Mo.

The letters of intent recognize the commitment by these students to become the next generation of teachers in Missouri, and emphasize the impact educators make on their students, their communities and beyond.

More than 400 students from 28 schools across the state attended the meeting.
