This free resource explains graphic novel terminology, insights on how to incorporate graphic novels into your lessons, and makes the case for how students benefit from reading graphic novels. The booklet also includes a synopsis, discussion questions and common core standards alignment recommendations for some of First Second’s young adult graphic novels.
