Listen to a Life contest returns
The Listen to a Life Essay Contest seeks to build connections between the generations. In the contest, people between the ages of 8 and 18 interview older people about their hopes and goals; how they achieved these goals and overcame obstacles; and how their dreams changed over time. Students then write an essay based on what they learn from their interviews. One winner will receive a Lenovo ThinkCentre computer and a keepsake timepiece from Expressions of Time. Ten Legacy Award winners will also receive a keepsake timepiece. Deadline is March. 11. For more information, visit www.legacyproject.org/contests/ltal.html.
