2011 MSTA STATE CONVENTION

Educators to gather in St. Louis in November


Ready to exchange ideas and get refueled? Join fellow educators at the 2011 MSTA Convention Thursday-Friday, Nov. 17-18 at the Marriott St. Louis Union Station. You will be able to select from a variety of new professional education topics. Breakout sessions will be offered on Thursday after the delegate assembly and Friday morning prior to the general session. Kim Bearden, Ron Clark Academy co-founder, executive director and language arts teacher, is the keynote speaker. There is no charge for members to attend any of the events or the professional education workshops.

UPDATE as of Oct. 25: MSTA's original room block has been sold out. A limited number of rooms are available at the Marriott for a newly negotiated rate of $159 per night.

Parking:


This year we have a discounted parking rate of $12 for overnight valet parking (regularly $24) or $16 for self-parking. Both have unlimited in-and-out privileges and are charged directly to the sleeping room.
