"Riding the Rails of Membership Processing"
Recruiting and retaining members is just the first junction for the Leadership Express. Learn what to do after your colleagues say ‘yes’ to membership. This session will familiarize you with forms, data processing tips, and deadlines that will make for smooth travels this year.

8:30-9:15 - Breakout Session Part 1 (Participants will attend one of the following topics.)
  • "Gear Up Your CTA Train"
    Every train needs a good crew of engineers to start and keep the train’s engine ready to leave the station. Build an engine strong enough to leave the station on its CTA journey. Learn all you need to know about MSTA services, benefits, recruitment techniques and membership retention. This essential information will give you the tools necessary to start your most successful membership year yet!
  • "Laying the Track for Successful Teamwork"
    Every train needs a track to make the journey smooth. Every district, no matter how large or small, consists of different levels of expertise complementing each other to make the district work. Teamwork is what brings those tracks together. This workshop will connect and expand strategies to effectively work with your crew to move down the tracks to success. Don't just be the 'Little Engine That Could,' with smooth tracks, be the 'CTA That Can!'
