The School Violence Hotline accepts calls and gathers information concerning incidents of school violence. Hotline staff receives the information and then phones and faxes it to appropriate law enforcement and school officials, who determine how to handle the reported incident.

The Hotline is available to report threats or violent acts against students, teachers or any others at school. ANYONE may call the Hotline anonymously. The toll-free School Violence Hotline number is (866) 748-7047. For further information, check the Web site at www.schoolviolencehotline.com.

Once a week, MSTA’s legal team will post a new pointer to help you be proactive in preventing and addressing matters that sometimes lead to legal concerns. Of course, we will continue to provide our legal services to members who contact us through the regular channels.
