Whether you’re stepping into your own classroom for the first time, or you’re a seasoned veteran, there are still lots of things to keep track of when it comes to teaching. This guide is a compilation of relevant information for teachers at any stage of their careers. Keep this guide handy as a reference for information on certification, mentoring and assessment. You’ll also find information on professionalism, parent-teacher relations, classroom management and other topics that might need a few reminders. For many of you, this information will be a review, but it’s always good to have a refresher. Information geared toward new teachers, such as working with a mentor, will be toward the front. If you’re nearing retirement, there will be more information toward the back for you. In between, there’s plenty of information that applies to everyone.
