The purpose of MSTA’s Rapid Response Team is to provide information on the issues that are important to MSTA members and allow them the opportunity to express their positions and opinions to their elected representatives. To join the team simply send an email to rapidresponse@msta.org. Tell us your name and school district and we will take care of the rest.

MSTA’s governmental relations department and school salary consultants work hard for our members year-round.

Our governmental relations department delivers testimony on MSTA's legislative platform; attends and provides input at State Board of Education meetings; represents your interests at Public School Retirement System meetings; serves as your liaisons to governmental agencies and conducts workshops on political issues and involvement.

During the legislative session, stay informed with the weekly MSTA Action newsletter. Action covers the latest educational issues at the state and federal level. Action can also keep members updated on MSTA’s activities at the Capitol. This publication is available via email and is also available for download and reading on our website.

Our skilled salary consultants have years of experience with school budgets, and understand the challenges that Missourischools face every day. They can help you understand the school finance process and tell you the exact financial condition of your school district. Plus, you'll have access to the current salary schedules and benefits of Missouripublic school teachers. During the winter, our salary consultants provide workshops to help teachers and their colleagues advocate for their own salaries in their district.
